Apulia
Is the region that forms the heel of the boot of Italy, with over 800 miles of coastline, mostly low and sandy, bathed by the crystal clear Adriatic Sea. A highlight of this region are the crops of vines and olives; in fact, Apulia is placed on top for the production of oil, wine and table grapes. In ancient times people who occupied these lands were called Apulians, hence the name “Apulia”.
